Freakin’ Logan.

So here is my final for my Analysis of Form class. The goal for the project was to find a photographic portrait with a good light source and then render it with charcoal. The medium that I used was charcoal and charcoal pencil. I think I spent about 24 hours on this project. Hope you like it, enjoy.

I was given this project to do for school. The project was to draw a self portrait. My only tools were a mirror, a wacom tablet, and photoshop. About 4 weeks, two days, and a ear infection later I finished my project. I went through about three stages in doing it. (three stages shown below)

I had no idea how to start and how to morph it into something worth looking at. With a little bit of help from my cousins who provided me with some good photoshop books I worked at it.
So I thought I finally finished but I realized my nose was too long. So i sliced it in half and fixed it up. I feel that there is always something that can be fixed or tweaked, but I decided to just leave it as it is. This is my end product…enjoy!
